The luminous glow of watercolor speaks to me with subtle nuances of layering light and color. It's fluidity challenges my painting and coaxes each work to morph into its own.  I love to paint the beauty of nature along with the cherished and everyday objects that feather our nests – collections of vintage jewelry, seashells, gardening tools, a worn workbench– those treasured pieces of time that speak of a well-loved past. Collections provide comfort and beauty to our daily lives. I want my paintings to reflect our connection to that which came before.
